Lake Fork, Texas (June 3, 2019) - In 2017, a South-Central Texas non-profit organization called Trinity Oaks developed the StarKids Program to bring the children of fallen combat veterans and first responders together in small groups to participate in outdoors activities. Trinity Oaks strongly believes that time spent in the outdoors by a grieving youngster with like minded peers is extremely valuable in aiding the healing process.
